1. Who we are and what this covers
This policy explains how Rios Cloud Security LLC (a Wyoming, USA limited liability company, "we", "us") handles information in connection with this website, rioscloudsecurity.com. It does not cover client engagements, which are governed by separate written agreements, including Business Associate Agreements where protected health information (PHI) is involved. We do not collect, receive, or process PHI through this website.
2. Information we collect
This is a static website with no contact form and no accounts, so we do not ask you to submit data through the site itself. We receive information only when you choose to reach out:
- If you email us (through the email links), we receive whatever you include, such as your name, email address, company, and message.
- If you book a call through our scheduling provider, we receive the details you provide to schedule it, such as your name, email, and chosen time.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser and user-agent, and timestamps) for security, performance, and abuse prevention.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
4. Third-party services
The site relies on a few third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3) for hosting and content delivery.
- Cal.com for consultation scheduling, used only if you choose to book a call.
- Google Fonts for web fonts; your browser requests font files from Google, which may receive your IP address as part of that request.
5. How we use information
We use the information you send us solely to respond to your inquiry, to schedule and conduct consultations, and to operate and secure the site. We do not sell or rent your information.
6. Data retention
We keep email and scheduling correspondence only as long as needed to respond to and manage your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business records. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's defaults and our operational needs.
7. Your choices and rights
You can email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, the UK, or California), you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and we will honor applicable requests.
8. Children
This site is intended for a business audience, is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
